Volunteers packing a previous lorry load of aid for Ukraine
The Keynsham-based charity Hope for Ukraine says its next 40ft lorry is booked to set off in the first week of July, transporting around 11 tonnes of humanitarian aid.
As part of this load, the volunteers are packing 1,200 much-needed food parcels. Each parcel costs £8 including transportation costs. All money donated to Hope for Ukraine Bristol between now and the next shipment will go towards these food parcels.
If you would like to sponsor one or more food parcels, head to the donate page on the website at https://hopeforukraine.org.uk/ Alternatively call 07933 712584 or email [email protected]
The charity also needs children’s and babies’ clothes and shoes in good condition. The charity has a link with a pastor in Suceava in Romania who arranges for the onward distribution of aid to Ukraine.
