Hope for Ukraine

Do you have any spare tools you could donate?

Hope for Ukraine, the Keynsham-based charity which runs humanitarian aid mission to the war-torn country, is delighted to have received donations of tools from the Keynsham Reuse Shop.

Dawn Elmer from the charity said: “We want to say a huge thank you to Andrew Kerr, coordinator at the Keynsham Reuse Shop at the Recycling Centre. We received two boxes full of good condition tools. This donation will be gratefully received by the people of Ukraine. These tools will be used to help rebuild homes for those in need.”

There are opportunities for people to donate more tools to the charity including this Saturday (4th May) at the High Littleton Repair Café at the Scout Hall from 10am to 12.30pm, and on Saturday 18th May at the Saltford Repair Café at Saltford Hall from 11am to 1pm. People are asked to check sheds, toolboxes, and junk drawers for unwanted hand and power tools in good condition, along with items such as nuts, screws and bolts.
