A second lorry full of humanitarian aid for Ukraine left Keynsham today.
At the weekend volunteers from the charity Hope for Ukraine loaded up more than 11 tonnes of items ready to be driven to their partners in Ukraine. The first load went out in April.
Once again Luke Power-Hippisley, from Bristol haulage firm Tudor Services, is undertaking the journey, together with the charity’s mascot Dillon (which means ‘Ray of Hope’).
The lorry departed the charity’s storehouse based at McGill’s in Avon Mill Lane in Keynsham this morning.
A lot of the aid was donated and packed by volunteers in the Keynsham area.
